We use 100% pre-preg carbon fiber with no fibreglass which means we can achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain smoother airflow. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse mounted filter and smoothly shape the airflow down to the intake tubes. This smooth reduction in cross sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack.

Further details can be read in the Technology page.

Bespoke Stage 3 Cone Filter

In order to achieve the highest flow rate possible we had to redesign our stage 2 filter and increase the size to as large as was possible withing the RS3 engine bay area. The resulting filter has an outside diameter of 210mm or 8.3″ and when flow tested with just the carbon housing is able to flow up to 940 CFM at 28″ H2O. The filter medium is ISO tested to ensure that filtration is in line with OEM standards and is also dry. The filter is constructed with our signature flow cones to aid in the Venturi housing principle.

Carbon Fiber Intake Duct

The duct channels ambient air from the slam panel area to the filter housing. It fits inside the OEM ducting system and smoothly transitions to the circular filter housing shape. In order to ensure a good seal against engine bay heat – it also has a flexible rubber edging around the opening which presses against the filter housings creating the desired seal yet allowing the housing to move with the engine. Since this was designed to support high power builds, we found that the stock openings in the slam panel could cause a restriction at high flow demand. So we lifted the top surface of the duct and created an opening above the slam panel which is able to draw in cold air from behind the hood shut. This extra opening is equivalent to a hole with a diameter of over 7″ and completely derestricts the stock cold air feed. The stage 3 duct was designed to have the maximum internal volume possible within the given geometry of the engine bay. This ensures that the filter housing is able to draw with minimum restriction.

We also made sure that the stage 3 duct is compatible with larger aftermarket throttle bodies.

Carbon Fiber Intake Tube

The intake tube is crafted from 100% prepreg carbon fiber and so as mentioned the internal surface is smooth and the carbon weave can be seen. The stage 3 tube has an internal diameter of 103mm or 4″ and has a smoooth curvature to minimise pressure drop. It channels airflow from the Venturi housing to the turbo inlet. The smooth bend geometry ensures laminar flow is maintained from the filters to the exits.

Heat Shield

Due to the intense heat generated by the turbo, we designed a heat shield to protect the carbon tube. The shield is powder coated black but has a gold reflective layer on the base which deflects radiation heat from the turbo and catalyst. It has a stainless steel brace to provide rigidity and curves around the back of the tube to deflect convective heat away. Please note – this shield may not fit some full frame turbo systems with a different exhaust manifold.

Performance

Flow Bench Testing

We conducted flow rate tests using a Superflow SF-1020 to measure the maximum flow rate possible at a pressure drop of 28” H2O. Tests were done on the same day in controlled conditions using the same test jig for each system. We tested our full intake system against the stock airbox system. The results show just how restrictive the stock airbox is, which we have managed to improve by up to 58% in maximum possible flow rate. Importantly this has been achieved with a sealed intake system so the intake temperatures will also be maintained at a minimum.

Dyno Testing

Our Stage 3 Intake has been tested by various reputable tuners globally who have been building high powered RS3/TTRS projects for road and track use. The first set of results are from BR Performance Netherlands who tested our system on a TTRS equipped with a TTE700 hybrid turbo. Tests were done on the same day back to back with the hood closed. They tested the stock airbox against our stage 3 intake and also with the addition of our 4″ turbo inlet tube which is an additional product – details can be seen on our Audi products page.

Dyno Results Summary:

Stock Airbox with Modified Stock Turbo Inlet for TTE700 = 576.5 HP
Eventuri Stage 3 Intake with Modified Stock Turbo Inlet for TTE700 = 606.5 HP
Eventuri Stage 3 Intake with Eventuri Turbo Inlet for TTE700 = 620.8 HP

Our stage 3 intake has also been tested on full frame turbo builds pushing the limits of the DAZA engine. Recent tests from Eurocharged Canada used our stage 3 intake to achieve 1010whp which further proves the flow capability of the Eventuri system. During testing, Eurocharged tuners commented that they were able to make more power at a lower boost setting using our stage 3 intake in comparison to other systems they had been using. Their RS3 has already achieved a 9.1 second quarter mile pass with a 160mph terminal speed and are well set to go under 9 seconds soon.

The gains are from a combination of reasons:

1) The sealed system keeps IATs low – the RS3 engine bay can get heat soaked very quickly so an open cone filter will cause an increase in IAT values resulting in a loss of performance.

2) The Venturi housing provides a smooth transition from the filter to the intake tubes which are both matched to an internal diameter of 103mm. This helps the hybrid and full frame turbo setups to run more efficiently.

3) The entire system is constructed from pure pre-preg carbon fibre which is great at insulating from heat and has smooth internal surfaces as opposed to fibreglass which will have sharp resin lines present.

Vehicle Fitment

Make

Model

Chassis

Models

Years

Audi

RSQ3

F3

All models

2019–2026

Product Details

Part Numbers:

EVE-B58-CF-INT : BMW B58 F Series M140i, M240i, M340i Black Carbon intake

The Eventuri B58 intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse mounted filter and smoothly shapes the airflow down to the integrated MAF intake tube. This smooth reduction in cross sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack. The carbon filter housing and the inlet tube have been integrated to be 1 continuous piece. This reduces the number of internal interfaces and allows for smoother airflow to the turbo. The diameter of the tube smoothly transitions from the required diameter at the MAF sensor end to the larger diameter of the turbo inlet. Further details on the patented housing can be read in the Technology page.

Carbon Heat Shroud

The Carbon filter housing is mated to a carbon heat shroud and an additional aluminium shield which stop the convective heat from the exhaust manifold saturating the filter. This coupled with our comprehensive double layered heat shields combine to provide a very effective cold area around the filter opening.

Carbon Fibre Intake Scoop

The scoop was designed for maximum efficiency in directing the incoming air to the stock duct openings. Many aftermarket scoops have a large flat area almost perpendicular to the oncoming air – not great for chaneling it into the ducts as the airflow just “hits” this flat portion and creates turbulence.

The scoop was designed for maximum efficiency in directing the incoming air to the stock duct openings. Many aftermarket scoops have a large flat area almost perpendicular to the oncoming air – not great for channeling it into the ducts as the airflow just “hits” this flat portion and creates turbulence.

The Eventuri Scoops have been designed to sit directly behind the front grills to capture as much air as possible and with a continuous curve to the duct opening to ensure this airflow is efficiently channeled. Having an effective cold air feed to the filter is an essential part of our design. Simply having some heat shields alone would result in elevated inlet air temperatures as the engine bay soaks with heat – especially on this engine since the manifold is directly next to the intake.

Main Heat Shield

A lot of attention was placed on the heat shielding since the intake is located next to the exhaust manifold. For this we used a double layer main shield with a silver finish on the exhaust side and black on the intake side. The silver layer reflects radiant heat from the exhaust and the black layer absorbs and radiant heat on the inlet side. The air gap between the two layers acts as an insulator to stop the conductive heat spreading to the inner layer.

The effectiveness of the shield results in low inlet air temperatures whilst on the move.

Secondary Heat Shield

The final shield mounts above the exhaust manifold and wraps around to protect the turbo inlet from direct heat saturation. Similar to the main shield – this is another double layer configuration with a silver layer on the exhaust side and a black layer on the inlet tube side.

Performance

As you can see, power and torque are increased through a large portion of the rpm range. This translates on the road to increased part throttle and full throttle response with the car pulling much more eagerly to the redline. At peak RPM the power curve for the intake merges with the stock airbox – this is due to the fact that on the dyno, the intake relies on the fan to push air through the scoop and into the filter. At high RPM the fan is simply inadequate in providing the required airflow – on the road this would not be a problem and we would expect the intake to continue making power gains up to the redline. The area for cold air entry has been maximised for the given shape and size of the surround and the duct transitions to the supplied flexible neoprene ducting tubes. While the car is in motion, ambient air is forced into these ducts which are connected to the neoprene tubes to transfer the airflow directly to the intakes. This ensures that the intakes do not get heat soaked and the engine is able to draw air at ambient temperatures.

Performance

The standard airbox draws in air from behind the front bumper so the flow path is long and this introduces drag in the system. Furthermore the cuboid nature of the airboxes give rise to turbulence where the transition to the circular MAF tubes take place. Our system replaces the airboxes with Venturi housings which transition much more efficiently to the circular MAF tubes maintaining laminar flow. The filters draw air from a shielded part of the engine bay which is saturated with cold air from the integrated foglamp scoops. By keeping inlet temperatures low and improving the flow path efficiency, the engine is able to produce more power. Dyno runs were done back to back on the same day and with the hood closed.

Vehicle Fitment

Make

Model

Chassis

Models

Years

BMW

M5

E39

All models

1998–2003

BMW E9X M3 - carbon

Performance Gain Dyno: 8-10hp, 10-12ft-lb
Performance Gain Road Dyno (Insoric): 16hp, 14Nm
IAT Difference with Ambient: Stock 7.5C : Eventuri 4.5C
V-Box Acceleration : 100-200kph Reduced By 0.3 SecondsÂ

The BMW E9X M3 Eventuri intake system is the result of extensive research and optimisation which improves possibly one of the best designed stock intake systems we have seen. The E9X stock airbox system is a brilliantly designed intake with an excellent flow path and feed system for ambient air. However on closer inspection, there are restrictions in the inlet tube connecting the airbox to the inlet manifold. By redesigning the tube yet maintaining the airbox, we have been able to allow the V8 engine to breathe with greater efficiency and therefore gain power. In addition to the new tube design, we also identified a further restriction in the air feed system. To overcome this we designed a scoop to allow an increase in airflow through the airbox. This reduces inlet temperature values further and adds to the performance gain of the system.

Vehicle Fitment

Make

Model

Chassis

Models

Years

BMW

M3

E90

All models

2007–2013

BMW

M3

E92

All models

2007–2013

BMW

M3

E93

All models

2007–2013

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0823/3327/0357/files/E92-M3-Eventuri-intake-components_5d0d7825-5419-4201-9532-72fea63c8d8e.webp?v=1787217751
eventuri-bmw-f8x-m3-m4-v2-full-black-carbon-intake-with-sealed-carbon-ducts
Eventuri BMW F8X M3/M4 V2 Full Black Carbon intake with SEALED Carbon ducts

Product Details

Part Numbers:

EVE-F8XMV2-CF-INT : BMW F8X M3/M4 V2 Full Black Carbon intake with SEALED Carbon ducts

The Eventuri F8X M3/M4 intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. Each tube has an integrated MAF sensor mount which is CNC machined from aluminium. The shorter left side tube smoothly transitions from the carbon housing down to the turbo inlet tube. The longer right side intake tube has to clear the fan shroud and strut brace. To do so we employed the same principle as the stock tube in changing the cross section from a circle at the turbo inlet tube to an oval for clearance over the shroud, then back to a circle at the filter housing end. We ensured these transitions were gradual so as not to disrupt airflow, furthermore we maintained the same cross sectional area in order to keep the velocity through the tube constant.

Here is the left side intake tube.

CARBON AIR SCOOPS

The final components in this system are the front scoops – essential to direct ambient air to the ducts and then to the filters.

The scoops were designed for maximum efficiency in directing the incoming air to the stock duct openings.

Having an effective cold air feed to the filters is an essential part of our design. This translates on the road to increased part throttle and full throttle response with the car pulling much more eagerly to the redline. The testing was done on the same day back-to-back and temperatures were monitored to ensure consistency.

Since the F80 M4 is sensitive to heat soak, dyno figures can vary between runs – we could have shown the highest figure achieved with the Eventuri VS the lowest achieved with the stock setup, however this would not be a fair comparison.

Development

The F8X M3/M4 Eventuri intake system was a culmination of months of dedicated design and development work. Here are some details of the development work and decisions which were made during the process:

The aim as always was to develop an intake in order to make the inlet track of the engine more efficient therefore allowing the engine to make more power. To do this we had to carefully balance inlet temperatures requirements with a smooth path for airflow. Clearly lower IATs is best for power but then ensuring the inlet track is smooth is equally as important to allow the turbos to draw in air with as little drag as possible.

All our main components will be made from prepreg carbon fibre of the highest quality. We use CF because it is a great heat insulator across its thickness. We have seen other companies use Aluminium tubes etc which is a cheaper way of doing things but Aluminium is more than 400 times worse than CF at insulating the intake air from engine bay heat! So once the engine bay is heat soaked, metal tubes will get very hot and will heat up the inlet air as it travels through.

Filter Housings

The main component in our intake systems and the thing which sets us apart from other intake companies is our Venturi housing which is a unique take on the regular “cone filter with heat shield” design. It is a Patent Pending system where we reverse the cone filter to decouple it from the narrower inlet/MAF tube and the actual housing acts to then shape the airflow smoothly down from the large opening to the smaller outlet to the MAF.

With the housing design completed to fit into the F8X engine bay we then proceeded with the tubing which also hold the MAF sensors.

LHS Intake

Looking at the engine, the left side has a short convoluted pipe going from the OEM airbox to the turbo inlet tube. In order to use our intake housing, we redesigned the tube, removing the ridges and importantly holding the MAF sensor.

To direct ambient air to the filter, a duct was designed which fits over the stock intake duct from the bumper. Initially this was designed as a closed duct to completely cover the mouth of the housing:

However, CFD analysis pointed to turbulence caused by the abrupt change in direction from the stock duct to the filter – on dyno testing this was proven as we gained more power by opening the top of this duct.

So this was redesigned and now the duct directs and saturates the filter opening with ambient air without causing a restriction – a balance between IATs and airflow:

Although now semi-open, IATs are still kept consistently low with the front scoops which saturate the area in front of the filters with ambient air. More details on the scoops later.

Now since we have removed the flexible stock tube and replaced it with a rigid CF tube, we needed to ensure some movement in the assembly in line with engine rotation and vibrations. So a mounting bracket was designed to slot into the stock rubber airbox mount. The bracket has a stub at one end which sits in the rubber mount and allows for adequate movement:

RHS Intake

For the right side, we redesigned the long tube to go from our filter housing to the turbo inlet tube. This longer tube has to clear the top of the radiator fan shroud but stay under the stock strut brace. In order to do so, like the stock tube, we transitioned the tube from circular at the connecting ends to oval in the middle for clearance. Importantly, we maintained a constant cross sectional area throughout the length downstream of the MAF sensor. By doing so the airflow maintains a constant velocity through the tube and the smooth geometric transitions help maintain laminar conditions.

Again – a duct was designed to capture ambient air from the stock ducts and direct the flow to the filters. Just like the analysis and testing carried out on the left side duct, we found that by opening the top of this duct, the system gained more power. Again – our scoops then ensure cold air saturation at the filter mouth.

Front Air Scoops

The final components in this system are the front scoops – essential in our system to direct ambient air to the ducts and then to the filters.

The scoops were designed for maximum efficiency in directing the incoming air to the stock duct openings.

Here is the shorter tube for the left side of the engine bay.

Performance

The car had no other modifications. As you can see, power and torque are increased through a large portion of the rpm range. This translates on the road to increased part throttle and full throttle response with the car pulling much more eagerly to the redline. The testing was done on the same day back-to-back and temperatures were monitored to ensure consistency. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse mounted filter and smoothly shapes the airflow down to the intake tube. This smooth reduction in cross sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack.

Further details can be read in the Technology page.

Carbon Intake Duct With Shield

The filter housing is positioned with its opening sealed against this new carbon duct. This carbon duct has been designed to fit over the stock cold air duct and direct ambient air from the scoop into the filter. It seals against the engine bay heat whilst still allowing some air entry from the cold side of the engine bay where the hood meets the wing.

In addition, there is a heat shield attached to the side which blocks the hot air from the radiator and the alternator from directly impacting onto the carbon housing. This shield reduces direct heat soak onto the carbon housing and therefore contributes in keeping IAT down.

Carbon Fibre Intake Tube

Our intake tube is crafted from 100% prepreg carbon fibre. Each tube has an integrated MAF sensor mount and breather adapter which are CNC machined from aluminium. The inlet tube has been designed to provide a smooth path for the airflow to negotiate from the filter to the stock turbo tube. In order to clear the fan shroud we smoothly transitioned the cross section from a circle to an oval and maintained constant area. This ensures the airflow remains laminar and allows the turbo to function with minimal drag.

Carbon Fibre Intake Scoop

The scoop was designed for maximum efficiency in directing the incoming air to the stock duct openings. Many aftermarket scoops have a large flat area almost perpendicular to the oncoming air – not great for channelling it into the ducts as the airflow just “hits” this flat portion and creates turbulence.

The Eventuri Scoops have been designed to sit directly behind the front grills to capture as much air as possible and with a continuous curve to the duct opening to ensure this airflow is efficiently channelled. Having an effective cold air feed to the filters is an essential part of our design. Simply having some heat shields in place is not an effective means of avoiding heated air from entering the filters unless the shields create an air tight envelope around the filters. It fits inside the OEM ducting system and smoothly transitions to the circular filter housing shape. In order to ensure a good seal against engine bay heat – it also has a flexible rubber edging around the opening which presses against the filter housings creating the desired seal yet allowing the housing to move with the engine. The duct was designed to have the maximum internal volume possible within the given geometry of the engine bay. This ensures that the filter housing is able to draw with minimum restriction.

Carbon Fibre Intake TubesOur intake tubes are again crafted from 100% prepreg carbon fibre. Each tube has an internal diameter of 88mm – the stock tubing is just 77mm in diameter. This enlarged diameter allows the turbo to operate with less restriction and also allows larger/hybrid turbos to run even better. The tubes smoothly carry the airflow to the turbo by ensuring there are no sharp or sudden bends. The smooth bend geometry ensures laminar flow is maintained from the filters to the exits.

The combined system ensures that airflow remains full and consistent to the turbo – minimising the occurrence of turbulence. There is some circulation in the duct as is expected but once the flow enters the tubing, this is smoothed out and allows the turbo to operate more efficiently.

Performance

Extensive testing was carried out on this system both on the Dyno and road. Firstly the dyno tests were carried out showing an impressive gain of approximately 17hp and 25ft-lb of torque. The gain is not just at the peak but throughout the RPM range. This translates on the road to increased part throttle and full throttle response with the car pulling much more eagerly to the redline. The testing was done on the same day back-to-back and temperatures were monitored to ensure consistency. The car was tested firstly with the stock intake – hood closed. We then left the car on the dyno and installed the Eventuri. The car was then run again – hood closed. Several runs were carried out with both configurations to get a consistent result.

We then took the car for some road testing using a Vbox unit to record the acceleration from 60-130mph (also 100-200Km/h). Testing was carried out on the same stretch of road – again on the same day to keep variables minimum. Results show that with just the intake added, the acceleration times from 60-130mph and also 100-200Km/h reduced by approximately 0.3 seconds which is a significant change at such speeds.

Acceleration results summary:

60-130mph with Stock intake = 12.013 seconds

60-130mph with Eventuri intake = 11.753 seconds

100-200Km/h with Stock intake = 10.271 seconds

100-200Km/h with Eventuri intake = 10.046 seconds

The gains are from a combination of reasons:

1) The sealed system keeps IATs low – the RS3 engine bay can get heat-soaked very quickly, so an open cone filter will cause an increase in IAT values, resulting in a loss of performance.

2) The Venturi housing provides a smooth transition from the filter to the intake tubes, which are both matched to an internal diameter of 88mm. This new filter has an outside diameter of 192mm or 7.6″ and when flow tested with a housing using a 4″ opening is able to flow up to 900 CFM at 28″ H2O. The filter medium is ISO tested to ensure that filtration is in line with OEM standards and is also dry. The filter is constructed with our signature flow cones to aid in the Venturi housing principle.

CARBON DUCT

The duct channels ambient air from the slam panel area to the filter housing. It fits inside the OEM slam panel area and smoothly transitions to the circular filter housing shape. This extra opening is equivalent to a hole with a diameter of over 7″ and completely de-restricts the stock cold air feed. The duct was designed to have the maximum internal volume possible within the given geometry of the engine bay. This ensures that the filter housing is able to draw with minimum restriction.

SILICON TURBO HOSE

Our silicon hose replaces the stock flexible tube to the turbo inlet. No other changes were made to the car. As can be seen, there is a measurable gain throughout the RPM range of up to 12hp. This gain even on a stock car is noticeable on the road with better throttle response and quicker acceleration. The tuning box was used for both the stock airbox and the Eventuri intake without any changes between the tests. With a higher flow demand, the stock airbox presents a higher restriction to the turbo as can be seen by the significant gain achieved with the Eventuri fitted. We now have higher gains across the RPM range of up to 20hp and 30Nm, which is even more noticeable on the road. We expect gains to be even higher with higher states of tune.

The gains are from a combination of reasons:

1) The sealed system keeps IATs low – the Audi engine bay can get heat soaked very quickly so an open cone filter will cause an increase in IAT values resulting in a loss of performance.

2) The Venturi housing provides a smooth transition from the filter to the intake tubes which are both matched to an internal diameter of 94mm. This helps the turbo to run more efficiently.

3) The entire system is constructed from pure pre-preg carbon fibre which is great at insulating from heat and has smooth internal surfaces as opposed to fibreglass which will have sharp resin lines present.

Flow Bench Testing

We conducted flow rate tests using a Superflow SF-1020 to measure the maximum flow rate possible at a pressure drop of 28” H2O. Tests were done on the same day in controlled conditions using the same test jig for each system. We tested our full intake system against the stock airbox system for both the R and GTi variants. The results show an increase of maximum flow by an additional 72% for the Golf R system. Importantly this has been achieved with a sealed intake system so the intake temperatures will also be maintained at a minimum.

Vehicle Fitment

Make

Model

Chassis

Models

Years

Audi

S3

8Y

All models

2020–2026

Audi

TTS

8S

All models

2022–2023

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0823/3327/0357/files/download_b0ad22a5-4467-42c5-859c-b0e156bea459.webp?v=1775725555
eventuri-audi-b9-rs5rs4-black-carbon-intake-with-secondary-duct
Eventuri Audi B9 RS5/RS4 Black Carbon intake with secondary duct

Product Details

Part Numbers:

EVE-B9RS5-CF-INT : Audi B9 RS5/RS4 Black Carbon intake with secondary duct

Each intake system consists of:

Carbon Fiber Venturi housing with intergated tube

High Flow Generation 2 Filter

Carbon Fiber Intake Duct

Carbon Fiber Front Scoop

Carbon Fiber Secondary Duct

High Quality Silicon Couplers and OEM Spec Hose Clamps

Laser Cut Stainless Steel Bracket Work

CNC Machined Mounting Stubs

Carbon Intake Housing Assembly

The filter housing comprises of our bespoke generation 2 filter, the carbon pod and integrated tube. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse mounted filter and smoothly shapes the airflow down to the turbo tube which it matches in diameter to the turbo tube. This is a key feature of the intake design where we have removed the requirement for a convoluted rubber hose between the intake and the engine. The filter housing and integrated tube extends all the way to the stock turbo tube and by mounting this to the engine, the entire filter housing moves with the engine. As the engine and filter housing moves under acceleration, it is able to maintain a seal to the duct through the use of an expanding rubber extrusion which is mounted to the face of the duct.

The smooth reduction in cross sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. The duct has been designed to take maximum advantage of the volume available in the engine bay. In order to ensure a good seal against engine bay heat – the duct also has a flexible rubber edging around the openings which press against the filter housing and OEM front duct creating the desired seal yet allowing the housing to move with the engine. To further enhance the airflow we added a secondary opening at the rear of the duct in the cold region of the engine bay. The highlighted point shows the highest gain in the RPM range of 79hp at the wheels.

DRAG STRIP TESTING

We took a stage 1 RS6 to a local drag strip to measure the effect of the intake on quarter mile times and also on 100-200km/h times. The car ran 3 times on the stock airbox to get a repeatable result and then the intake was swapped over to the Eventuri. The car was then again run 3 times to make sure the result was consistent. Tests were done on the same day in controlled conditions using the same test jig for each system. We tested the turbo inlets by themselves and then also the complete assembly with the airbox and turbo inlets together for both the stock system and the Eventuri.

Testing just the inlets alone shows a 58% increase in flow rate over stock. This is due to the way our inlets increase in diameter at the airbox side which allows for a much lower restriction. Testing the complete system with the airbox shows an increase in flow rate of 90% over stock which is a significant increase. This shows just how restrictive the stock airbox is, with the flow rate dropping by over 25% when adding the stock airbox to the stock inlets. In contrast the flow rate drops by only 11% when adding the Eventuri intake to the Eventuri inlets. With a 90% increase in flow rate, it is clear why there are significant power gains once the C8 RS6 is tuned and the turbos demand a higher flow to create more boost pressure.

Flow bench test of the OEM system.

Flow bench test of the Eventuri system.

Vehicle Fitment

Make

Model

Chassis

Models

Years

Audi

RS6

C8

All models

2019–2026

Audi

RS7

C8

All models

2019–2026

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0823/3327/0357/files/eventuri-audi-c8rs6-eventuri-1-2a6d83.webp?v=1792182329
eventuri-ferrari-f12-berlinetta-carbon-intake
Eventuri Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Carbon Intake

Product Details

Part Numbers:

EVE-F12-CF-INT : Ferrari F12 Carbon intake Gloss Finish

The Eventuri Ferrari F12 intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. Each section is carefully crafted to maximize internal volume while ensuring an unobstructed path for airflow to reach the turbos. The primary challenge in this design was enhancing the airboxes’ internal volume to improve flow rate capacity beyond the stock airboxes. Given the compact nature of the G63 engine bay, this was achieved by optimizing the internal height of the airboxes. The most significant improvement came from enlarging the upper airbox lids, resulting in a substantial volume increase and a smoother, more efficient airflow path.

AIRBOX COMPARISONS

Comparing the Eventuri intake directly with the OEM airboxes clearly shows the difference in volume and the improvement in the flow path. The cold air feed of the OEM system connects to the airbox with a long flexible duct which is restricted in size. This also leaves little room for the airbox base to shape the incoming flow onto the filter. We have incorporated most of the cold air feed length into the base of our airbox allowing for a much larger internal volume and and more organic path to allow the filter maximum exposure.

The lid of the OEM airbox is even further restricted due to the close proximity of the filter panel to the turbo inlet. Airflow has to negotiate a very tight transition from the rectangular filter to the circular turbo inlet positioned to one side of the airbox. This results in stagnant flow across significant areas of the filter resulting in further resistance.

We have lowered the position of our filter allowing more space to transition to the turbo inlet. This allows the filter to be more effectively used with minimised turbulence and a much reduced drag on the turbos.

ENGINE COVER

By utilising the space under the hood we have maximised the volume of our intake system but this also required the engine cover to be redesigned as the OEM cover sits close to the OEM intakes. The new cover is made from prepreg carbon fiber and features high temperature insulation to protect it from the heat of the turbos.

CUSTOM PANEL FILTERS

Maximising the size of our intake was only possible through designing custom filters. Our high flow panel filters use a multi-layer dry medium for effective filtration while providing a curved profile to eliminate non-organic corners in the airbox design, which would have resulted in turbulence.

Performance

DYNO TESTING

This intake has been independently dyno tested by Mercedes specialists MSL Perfomance. Tests were done back to back against the stock airbox and several runs were taken with each configuration. We took the best results from the stock airbox and the best from the Eventuri system. The dyno results show a consistent gain throughout the RPM range which can be attributed to the turbos reaching peak boost earlier and with a lower wastegate duty cycle due to the higher efficiency of the intake system. This gain is despite the dyno cell temperatures being higher for the Eventuri tests. The performance gain translates on the road to increased part throttle and full throttle response with the car pulling much more eagerly to the redline.

The results show just how restrictive the stock airbox is, which we have managed to improve by up to 25% in maximum possible flow rate. Importantly this has been achieved with a sealed intake system taking the air feed from the same location as the OEM system. An open system would flow more but at the expense of intake air temperatures, which would be detrimental to performance.

Vehicle Fitment

Make

Model

Chassis

Models

Years

Mercedes-Benz

G-Class

W463A

All models

2018–2024

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0823/3327/0357/files/download_7a9c410f-d5e7-4701-aec9-60ba305161dd.webp?v=1775725380
eventuri-mercedes-g63-w465-amg-2025-m177-engine-code-carbon-intake
Eventuri Mercedes G63 W465 AMG 2025+ ; M177 Engine code Carbon Intake

Product Details

Part Numbers:

EVE-G63W465-CF-INT : Mercedes G63 AMG W465 M177 Intake System in Gloss Carbon Fiber

The Eventuri G63 AMG intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. This is a key feature of the intake design where we have removed the requirement for a convoluted rubber hose between the airbox and the turbo inlet tubes. The filter housings and integrated tubes extend all the way to the stock turbo tubes and are able to move as one piece with the engine through the strut braces. This removes the extra interfaces of having a separate flexible tube, which the stock system requires for flexibility as the stock airboxes are mounted to the chassis so cannot move. The performance gain translates on the road to increased part throttle and full throttle response with the car pulling much more eagerly to the redline.

Vehicle Fitment

Make

Model

Chassis

Models

Years

BMW

M5

G90

All models

2024–2026

BMW

M5

G99

All models

2024–2026

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0823/3327/0357/files/download_7d38b6f6-e03c-46ff-8633-a9a616e94667.webp?v=1775725302
eventuri-porsche-9911-9912-gt3rs-carbon-intake
Eventuri Porsche 991.1 991.2 GT3RS Carbon Intake

Product Details

Part Numbers:

EVE-GT3RS-INT : Porsche 991.1 991.2 GT3 RS

The Eventuri 991 GT3 RS intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. Since the airbox is positioned next to the exhaust manifold it is crucial for the filter to be fully sealed so we designed the airbox to encapsulate the filter and at the same time provide a large internal volume. To seal the intake tube we have designed a laser cut plate with a rubber sealing strip which secures to the airbox. The intake tube passes through the plate and the rubber seal ensures heated air does not enter the airbox. To further minimise heat soak, there is an additional heat shield with a gold reflective layer on the exhaust manifold side which effectively combats the radiant heat transfer.

Carbon Inlet Tube

The stock inlet tube has a flexible and convoluted section to provide movement with the engine. This however also adds the possibility of turbulence in the flow path as there are multiple faces which can cause eddies. We replace this with our carbon tube which is smooth and also has a larger internal volume.

Unlike most aftermarket intakes we maximised the size of our intake tube, the OEM inlet tube has an internal diameter of 80.8mm or 3.2” at the filter end. Our tube an internal diameter of 109mm or 4.3”. This equates to a massive 82% increase in cross sectional area over stock. The tube smoothly tapers down to the stock turbo inlet to ensure airflow remains as laminar as possible. The tube also has CNC machined fitting for the temperature sensor and the breather adapter.

Bespoke Cone Filter

Our cone filter is made from a non-woven mesh material which is double layered and is ISO tested to ensure that filtration is in line with OEM standards. This geometry invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. It can be thought of as a large velocity stack. Our bespoke filters aid the airflow moving through the housings and allow for an even velocity profile as the airflow exits the housings. Further details can be read in the Technology and Filters pages.

CARBON TWIN AIR DUCTS

The biggest restriction in the stock system is the location of the feed in comparison to the orientation of the turbo inlets. The feeds are at the front of the car and the turbo inlets face the rear of the car. We have designed the air ducts with an additional opening at the top and introduced a secondary feed where cold air is taken from the scuttle panel. By using both the the OEM air feeds and the additional air feeds, our system is able to flow with a higher rate as well as provide a less tortuous flow path to the turbos.

EPDM REAR FEEDS

To ensure that the intake is fully sealed, the secondary air inlets on the carbon ducts seal to these EPDM feeds which then route to the scuttle panel area. Once the hood is closed, the scuttle area is sealed off from the engine bay therefore these feeds are able to provide the intake with a supply of ambient air. A pre-cut centre section of the OEM hood seal is provided to allow space for these EPDM feeds to be installed.

CARBON ENGINE COVER

Since our filter housings have been designed for maximum volume, the OEM engine cover no longer fits into place. So we have produced a redesigned cover which finishes off the engine bay, covering the engine hardware for a refined aesthetic. We have allowed for gaps between the engine cover and the intakes so that the heat coming off the engine can easily dissipate rather than soak into the intake system.

The complete system comes together to provide an intake which improves on the stock airbox in performance, aesthetics and sound.

Vehicle Fitment

Make

Model

Chassis

Models

Years

BMW

X5

G05

All models

2019–2023

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0823/3327/0357/files/download_8a509c40-ab30-419c-b1ad-5c838ade6f8c.webp?v=1775711317
eventuri-bmw-e9x-m3-black-carbon-intake-matte
Eventuri BMW E9X M3 Black Carbon intake Matte

Make

Model

Chassis

Models

Years

BMW

M3

E90

All models

2007–2013

BMW

M3

E92

All models

2007–2013

BMW

M3

E93

All models

2007–2013
