Onto the cast part we then welded CNC-machined connections for BOV and breather hoses. This construction adds a lot of performance but only a small amount of extra weight: do88 Performance Y-pipe 1.52 kg (3.35 lb) vs OEM plastic pipe 1.38 kg (3.04 lb), and a competitor's cast performance pipe 2.76 kg (6.08 lb).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pipes are finished in a high-quality powder coat that makes them look as good as they perform. The kit includes 2 high-quality custom-designed silicone hoses, available to suit either the OEM intercoolers or the do88 performance intercoolers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen it comes to airflow performance, the do88 Y-pipe totally outperforms the OEM Y-pipe by 62% increased flow at the same pressure drop.
