B-G Racing Silicone Air Duct Hose Black - 42mm Ø - 1 Meter Length

The B-G Air Duct Hose is constructed from a dual-layer silicone and glass fibre composite designed for maximum durability whilst still providing crucial flexibility. The outer layer incorporates a high elastic spring steel wire helix to maintain structural integrity and eliminate kinking under bend or compression. A secondary inner silicone layer provides a smoother bore than conventional single-layer hoses, reducing boundary layer turbulence and improving airflow efficiency. The B-G Air Duct Hose is suitable for hot or cold air, and often used in motorsport applications for brake cooling, air intake systems, driver cockpit ventilation and any other low-pressure ducting applications where thermal stability and minimal flow restriction are critical. The hose is often used for many other industrial, marine, aviation and military applications where heat resistance and durability are necessary. This air ducting hose is capable of being used in areas with temperatures ranging from -70°C (-94°F) to +300°C (572°F) and offered in either Black or Red colour. Available in various diameters, including: 25mm (1.00") 32mm (1.25"), 38mm (1.50"), 42mm (1.65"), 45mm (1.75"), 51mm (2.00"), 60mm (2.36"), 63mm (2.50"), 70mm (2.75"), 76mm (3.00"), 102mm (4.00"), 127mm (5.00"). Sold per metre, and available in one continuous length up to 4 metres. The air ducting pipe can be easily cut to the length required with basic tools. Dimensions may vary due to manufacturing tolerances, with an allowance of +/- 20mm on lengths supplied.
