The Eventuri GR4 Carbon Turbo Tube consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. We use 100% pre-preg carbon fiber with no fibreglass which means we can achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain smoother airflow. Here are the details for each component and the design ethos behind them:

Each Turbo Tube Set consists of:

• Carbon Fiber Turbo Tube
• CNC Machined Turbo Flange
• Custom Nitrile Hose

Carbon Fiber Turbo Tube

The main tube body is crafted from prepreg carbon fiber. This allows the inside to be smooth which helps maintain laminar flow. The tube incorporates an OEM style mount to secure it to the engine as well as the breather ports for a plug and play installation.

Comparison with OEM

When comparing the 2 tubes side by side, the most significant increase in volume can be seen at the elbow which leads to the turbo. The OEM tube is heavily restricted in this region and this leads to a choking effect, particularly at higher boost levels. In contrast, our tube has been enlarged significantly in this region while at the same time we have optimised the bend radius for a smoother flow path to the turbo. The result is a two fold increase in the availability of encapsulated air which improves throttle response. Furthermore with less restriction, peak boost can be reached sooner.

As can be seen, the increase in volume from from 1,300cm³ to 2,200cm³ represents an increase of almost 70%.

Comparison with OEM

The OEM tube is in a brass colour and the Eventuri tube has been made transparent. You can clearly see the regions where we have increased volumes and improved the flow path.

Connecting Hose

The carbon tube connects to our custom designed hose made from Nitrile and reinforced with ribs to withstand vacuum forces. This allows for an easier install where the elbow can be installed prior to the carbon tube. This hose provides a smooth internal surface with internal steps to allow for a seamless transition between the carbon and the machined turbo flange.

Turbo Flange

Finally our CNC machined turbo flange secures to the turbo and completes the flow path. This flange can be replaced with alternative versions we will provide separately for larger turbos.

Performance

Independently dyno tested at a GR4 specialist – Limit+1, our turbo tube shows gains at the wheels of 14whp and 19ft-lb in the lower rpm range which is a result of the larger volume of immediate air available in the tube. At the higher rpm there are gains of 9whp and 9ft-lb.

The tube was tested on a GR Corolla with a stock ECU. The baseline runs were carried out with an Eventuri intake and the OEM turbo tube. After several runs, only the OEM turbo tube was swapped out for our version. Nothing else was changed on the engine.

Warranty & Damaged/Missing Parts

All Eventuri products have a 1 year warranty.

This does not cover general wear & tear, including any external components such as scoops, which are subject to stone-chips etc. and harsh weather conditions.

Any damage caused by incorrect fitment/handling will void warranty. We recommend installation be undertaken by an experienced professional. Any products that have been altered in any way will also void warranty.

Warranty is not transferable, therefore second-hand products are NOT covered by warranty terms.

Any damaged items received MUST NOT be installed and must be reported to the dealer immediately.

To raise warranty requests, the customer needs to provide the following information:

• Picture of serial number plaque.
• Picture of barcode label.
• Picture of checklist.
• Copy of purchase invoice.
• Pictures of any damages/failed component.

Replacement Components

We offer replacements only for damaged components. Please note the following information MUST be provided by the customer to initiate replacement requests:

Returns & Refunds

If you wish to return any products, this must be done within the 28 day return policy guidelines. Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving goods and returned within 14 days of notifying.

Returned goods must NOT be opened or used. If any products are opened and indicate signs of use, deductions will be made from the refund.
