About the Mantis MTP-1010 Ford 1.0 EcoBoost Performance Ignition Coil.

This Ford 1.0 EcoBoost Performance Ignition Coil is specifically for the later generation of Ford’s characterful three-cylinder 1.0 EcoBoost engine. Most notably, it fits the Ford Fiesta Mk8, Focus Mk4 and Puma, including compatible EcoBoost mild-hybrid applications.

Introduced with the Fiesta Mk8 in 2017, this later Ford 1.0 EcoBoost Performance Ignition Coil with H6BG and JX6G coil design is distinct from that used by earlier Fiesta and Focus 1.0 EcoBoost models. The MTP-1010 supports compatible later-generation applications from around 2017 to 2026 (note, for the earlier generation 1.0 EcoBoost, use Mantis MTP-1011).

The 1.0 is one of the most charismatic little engines ever produced, yet never had a dedicated performance ignition coil option of its own. The MTP-1010 finally gives it one – a direct, OE plug-and-play replacement developed specifically for these distinctive 3-cylinder engines.
