About the Mantis MTP-1009 Ford Volvo 2.5T Performance Ignition Coil.

This Ford Volvo 2.5T Performance Ignition Coil is specifically for the charismatic turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder engines. Most notably, it fits the Ford Focus ST225, Focus RS Mk2 and limited-production RS500 – three of the best-known performance cars powered by this distinctive engine.

The same Ignition Coil also supports the Ford Kuga 2.5T and a broad selection of Volvo T5 and R models, including the C30, S40, V50, S60, V70 and XC90, across compatible five-cylinder turbo engines from around 2003 to 2014.

These engines are justifiably well supported by the performance aftermarket, and the MTP-1009 adds a carefully engineered High Performance coil to any engine tuning upgrades - combining Mantis quality, stronger spark performance and direct OE plug-and-play fitment.
