About the Mantis MTP-1005 Hyundai Kia 1.6T Performance Ignition Coil.

This Hyundai Kia 1.6T Performance Ignition Coil covers the 1.6 T-GDI engine family. Most notably, it fits the popular Hyundai i20 N, Kia Ceed GT and Hyundai Veloster Turbo – three of the best-known enthusiast models powered by this compact turbocharged engine.

The same Ignition Coil also supports other selected Hyundai and Kia models, across both G4FJ Gamma and G4FP Smartstream engine generations from around 2012 to 2026.

These 1.6 T-GDI engines have become a significant part of Hyundai and Kia’s modern performance range, yet never had a dedicated performance ignition coil option of their own. The MTP-1005 finally gives them one of their own – a performance ignition coil option with direct, OE plug-and-play fitment.
