About the Mantis MTP-1015 Subaru & Toyota Performance Ignition Coil.

This Subaru & Toyota Performance Ignition Coil covers a broad range of the charismatic Toyota and Subaru Boxer engines. Most notably, it fits the ever-popular Toyota GT86 and GR86, together with their Subaru BRZ sibling – three of the most recognisable enthusiast coupés of the past decade.

The same Subaru & Toyota Performance Ignition Coil also supports many of Subaru’s best-known models of the era, including the WRX, Forester XT, Impreza, XV and Crosstrek, Legacy and Outback, across FA20, FA24, FB20 and FB25 engine families from around 2012 to 2026.

Together, these cars defined a generation of sports coupés and all-weather performance cars, yet never had a dedicated performance ignition coil option of their own. The MTP-1015 finally gives them one – a direct, OE plug-and-play replacement developed specifically for these distinctive Boxer engines.
