About the Mantis MTP-1001 VAG 1.0/1.2/1.4TSI Performance Ignition Coil.

This VAG 1.0/1.2/1.4TSI Performance Ignition Coil covers a broad range of Volkswagen Group small-capacity petrol engines. Most notably, it fits enthusiast favourites including the Volkswagen Up GTI and selected Polo GTI, SEAT Ibiza Cupra and Skoda Fabia vRS applications.

As well as these hot-hatches, the same VAG 1.0/1.2/1.4TSI Performance Ignition Coil also supports many of the group’s most familiar models, including the Volkswagen Golf, Audi A1 and A3, SEAT Ibiza, Leon and Arona, and Skoda Fabia, Octavia and Scala, across 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4-litre engines from around 2010 to 2026.

These engines powered a generation of compact Volkswagen Group cars, from everyday hatchbacks to some of its best-known smaller performance models. The MTP-1001 gives them a dedicated performance coil option as a direct, OE plug-and-play replacement.
