Bolt on BHP, by lowering the charge Air temperatures, a remapped car has increased power by ecu changes that raise boost pressure and other parameters, this increase in boost pressure raise intake temps and power loss soon follows, by fitting an up-rated intercooler you lower these intake temps, in turn increasing bhp and making your engine safer

  • Run 2 -Temperature Into intercooler from charger 152 degree & Out of Intercooler into engine 130 degree
  • Run 3 -Temperature Into intercooler from charger 155 degree & Out of Intercooler into engine 135 degree
  • Conclusion – the standard intercooler on a tuned Mini just doesn’t work, most owners know this, here’s the proof for other owners that didn’t know.
  • Competitors Intercooler 50mm core (Note, this version didn’t have Air diverter scoop) – Peak power 216.0 bhp & 171.4 Ib/ft
  • Run 1 -Temperature Into intercooler from charger 124 degree & Out of Intercooler into engine 66 degree

  • Conclusion – This intercooler worked much better than standard, but we feel the 50mm tube and fin core still couldn’t handle highly tuned Mini’s intake temps.

  • Conclusion – The Airtec 60mm bar and plate core works really well and keeps temps below 50 degree’s

What are the delivery methods and charges for UK, Europe and Rest of World (ROW)?


Regal Autosport uses a variety of shipping services to give the best combination of value, service and speed to our customers. This will vary on location, value of the time and size to name a few.


Regal Autosport may drop-ship directly from the manufacturer to the customer if the product is a non-stock item and this provides the best value and service. If this is the case, the delivery method may be different.


Shipping is calculated automatically at the checkout, depending on your location and the products ordered. On occasion, the shipping price may be incorrect due to your location or the product being oversized in dimension or weight. Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible with our shipping prices, from time to time they might be inaccurate. We will not know until we process your order if this is the case, we will contact you if this is the case and provide you with the option of cancelling or payment of the difference.


Due to the value of the products sold we only deliver to the verified address of any payment method OR any address if paid for by bank transfer. Thanks to scammers, we simply do not take the risk and any order which does not have a verified address will be cancelled.


Any customer with an order which has been damaged in transit must notify Regal Autosport immediately and within 14 calendar days of shipping. If this is not done, the shipping insurance cannot be used, and you will not be compensated. 


United Kingdom Mainland


Within the United Kingdom Mainland, we use DPD Local. This service is a next working day service. For orders which are in-stock and make the 2PM same-day shipping cut-off, they will be delivered the following working day. A working day is Monday - Friday only.


Tracking is automatically sent to your email address or mobile address or both once the order has been processed for shipping. You will then typically receive a 1-hour delivery window on the day.


United Kingdom Non-Mainland 

Within the United Kingdom Non-Mainland, we use DPD Local. This service is a next working day or 2 working day service. For orders which are in-stock and make the 2PM same-day shipping cut-off, they will be delivered the following working day or the second working day. A working day is Monday - Friday only. 


Europe 

For Europe, we use DHL. Your delivery location will determine the transit time. Orders in-stock and placed before 2PM will ship the same working day. A working day is Monday - Friday only.
