The MMX Front Differential Lift Mount / Cradle (MMR55-1604) is engineered for the BMW F8x and G8x M2, M3 and M4. Fitted on its own in the OEM position it reduces drivetrain movement under load, on road or track. Paired with the MMX Rear Diff Raised Poly Bush, it raises the differential by 10mm, correcting driveshaft geometry on lowered vehicles and reducing heat and premature wear on the axle shafts. Precision machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminium, it's a direct replacement requiring no modification. If you already run the MMX High Capacity Diff Sump (MMR55-1600 for G8x, MMR55-1000 for F8x) and/or the MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1606 for G8x, MMR55-1001 for F8x), the Front Differential Lift Mount / Cradle is the natural next step to complete the setup.

The MMX Front Differential Lift Mount / Cradle (MMR55-1604) is a precision machined replacement for the F8x and G8x M2, M3 and M4 diff mount, designed to reduce movement under load. Fitted on its own in the OEM position, it tightens up the connection between the differential and the chassis, cutting down on drivetrain movement under hard acceleration and load changes, without changing the vehicle's geometry. The same cradle also solves a problem specific to lowered cars. Lowering an F8x or G8x M2, M3 or M4 changes the geometry of the rear axle, placing the driveshafts under an angle they were never designed to run at. This accelerates wear on CV joints and axle shafts, and increases heat build up at the diff. G8x Pairing Paired with the MMX Rear Diff Raised Poly Bush (MMR55-1605), the cradle raises the differential by 10mm, restoring correct driveshaft geometry and taking the strain off the drivetrain. This is the 3-point kit, one cradle (MMR55-1604) and one raised bush (MMR55-1605). For a full 4-point setup, the MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1606) is added alongside a second raised bush, giving further control over differential movement at the corrected, lifted height. F8x Pairing Paired with the MMX Rear Diff Mount Bush (MMR55-1603), the cradle forms the 3-point setup at OEM height. The F8x system works a little differently to G8x here, height adjustment is built into the MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1001) rather than the bush. Adding the Dual Differential Mount alongside a second bush gives the full 4-point setup, with the OEM or Lifted position set at the mount. What makes the cradle unique is that one product covers both applications. It isn't a raised version and a stock version sold separately, it's a single cradle where the bush and mount configuration at the point of fitting determines whether it's simply reducing movement, or correcting geometry on a lowered car.
