Similarly to PAGID Racing brake pads, STREET+ by PAGID Racing employs a dual retention system, with an adhesive bond and a unique mechanical system.

The mechanical system on STREET+ by PAGID Racing consists of a crimped backplate interface to friction material, ensuring an enhanced bonding between friction material and the backplate.

Application Range

High performance brake pads for road and street. Due to excellent performance and modulation characteristics also applicable on track days. The friction compound was approved on the race track and on the Eifel streets.

Even 18 hot laps on the Bilster Berg, driven by professional race driver Benjamin Leuchter were no problem at all for these premium brake pads.

The first braking procedures of approx. 20 brakings, should be carried out gently and carefully, from a max. speed of 50 km/h.

As second step, 15 - 20 braking procedures from a medium speed and medium pressure (50% of an emergency braking pressure) is necessary, allowing cooling time for the brakes in between brakings to avoid thermal shock.

Finally, use a moderate driving style and avoid any unnecessary, hard or continuous braking for the first 300 km.

    Caution:

The procedure should be only carried out on sections of the road that permit these manoeuvres to be carried out in a safe manner. Exessive braking can cause the friction material to overheat too quickly, resulting in the brake pad surface to glaze over and affect the overall braking performance during this process.
