This upgrade will transform the braking capability of your Audi RS6 or RS7 C8 with RacingLine’s direct-fit Carbon Ceramic Brake Disc Conversion. Available as a front pair and a rear pair, they are developed as a straightforward bolt-in replacement for the factory steel discs.

The result: these 2-piece CCM replacements deliver exceptional resistance to fade, a dramatic reduction in unsprung weight and far less brake dust.

Braking, Transformed.

The C8 RS6 and RS7 combine immense performance with considerable weight, placing huge demands on their braking systems. Replacing the factory steel discs with RacingLine Carbon Ceramics gives the car the braking capability it deserves: powerful, consistent and repeatable stopping performance, even under sustained high-temperature use.

With more than three times the heat capacity of the OE steel brake discs, the Carbon Ceramic construction maintains its performance through repeated heavy braking. The result is exceptional fade resistance and consistent pedal response, whether the brakes are stone cold or being worked hard.

Advanced Carbon Ceramic Construction.

At the heart of each rotor is an advanced material structure in which discontinuous carbon fibres are interwoven to create a strong, three-dimensional, multi-directional matrix. This delivers an outstanding combination of thermal performance, durability and weight reduction compared with a conventional steel disc.

A two-piece construction separates the Carbon Ceramic disc from its aluminium bell, allowing controlled expansion and contraction as temperatures change. This reduces unwanted thermal stress while maintaining precise location and consistent performance.

Installing the complete front and rear conversion (front pair VWR680027 and rear pair VWR680028) removes approximately 35kg (77lb) of unsprung mass from the car, benefiting not only braking but also steering response, suspension control and overall agility. For optimum braking performance, we recommend installing the matched front and rear disc sets together.

Direct-fit conversion.

The RacingLine discs are dimensionally identical to the factory steel discs, making them a straightforward bolt-in replacement. The conversion must be installed with the specified Audi OEM Carbon Ceramic brake pads, providing consistent pedal response across a broad operating-temperature range.
